Happy hump day!

I’ve seemed to become one of those people who sit in Starbucks and blog while searching Pinterest and drinking coffee. I’ve been here so much lately that the baristas know my name and my drink order. Some people may call that a problem but I see it as an accomplishment! “Catherine – Grande White Mocha.”
I’m going to go broke before the end of the semester and it’s not even March yet. #CollegeProbs

As I’m sitting here, I’m also in the process of designing an entirely new layout… I think you all will like it! It’s very me. This will take awhile so be patient : )

Also, smile because it’s Wednesday! You’re halfway done with the week and you have two more days of school work and then the weekend! So pour a cup of coffee and slap on a smile. Getting through the week is a heavy task, but you can do it!

Let’s get crafty!

Hi all!
I saw a few fun crafts on Pinterest that I have to share! Of course I will re-create these and eventually put them up in my room.

Take this quote and decorate it up on a white canvas! The “y’all” just adds to the southern flare!

This one is easy and fun!! Buy a wooden letter from a local Michaels or Hobby Lobby, acrylic paint, and painters tape!

First paint the entire letter one color.  Let dry!

After it’s dry, apply the tape on top of the plain colored letter to create a chevron pattern.

Next, paint over your entire letter with your next color. Yes, paint over the tape!
DO NOT take tape off until completely dry!!

After everything is dry, remove the tape and you’re all done!!

More crafts coming your way!

Aint no mountain high enough…

Not only did I climb a mountain last weekend, but I climbed it with my best friends… and that is the best support system ever 🙂

I accomplished something. And I accomplished something big.

Hiking is one of the greatest things a person could experience. Once I tried it for the first time last fall, I realized that it’s amazing…  Words can’t even describe the sense of relief and happiness you obtain once you get to the top.  Climbing a mountain, to me, is insanely inspiring.  I really encourage all of you to try it  🙂

“If you are faced with a mountain, you have several options. You can climb it and cross to the other side. You can go around it. You can dig under it. You can fly over it. You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there. You can turn around and go back the way you came…. Or you can stay on the mountain and make it your home.”

Classy&Fabulous -CocoChanel

Image Oh Chanel how you’ve done it again with your wise words. One of my favorite quotes slapped onto a candid from one of my favorite movies:  Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

“The only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then- then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!”

Introduction.

Hi.

As you may have guessed, I’m Catherine.

I decided to start a blog where I can share my thoughts about the stressful four years… without annoying my Twitter followers. Sorry guys.  I will also share fun thoughts to maybe take your mind off of school work for at least 10 minutes… whether it be current events, Pinterest crafts, movies, shopping, etc.

Welcome to my life… I hope you enjoy it.
